THE Classic Dirt Bike Show takes place this weekend with Speedway having a heavy presence at the event.
It’s held at the Telford International Centre, Shropshire on Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11 with doors open from 10am.
Belle Vue, Birmingham, Workington and the World Speedway Riders’ Association have all got their own stands and there will be bikes and memorabilia on display.
The show is sponsored by Hagon Shocks and former racer Martin Hagon hopes to see supporters from across the UK in attendance.
“It’s a great little show and it’s a really enjoyable couple of days,” Hagon said.
“There are bikes on display from Motocross, trials, grasstrack etc, all off-road disciplines basically, and there are stands promoting different things and stands selling a wide variety of things as well.
“This year in particular I feel is a great opportunity for all of us to put Speedway out there to a more general public and to people who already have some form of interest in off-road bike racing.”
Former British Champion Kelvin Tatum MBE was due to be a special guest speaker, but he is now, unfortunately, unable to attend due to family illness.
Tickets can be purchased on the day and are priced at £20 adults whilst Under-16s are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
